
David C. Reed
David “DC” Reed is a retired US Army training division chief as well as a civilian criminal investigator and veteran with extensive experience in major crimes cases, including homicide, fraud, and missing persons.
He travelled world wide conducting training in special tactics and policing leadership for the US Army. He has served civilian LE agencies in every role from patrol officer to detective, to chief deputy, and advised the POST commissions of two states and the DoD. Even in retirement he is a sought after police trainer and has conducted courses in SRT and Precision Marksman Observer operations.
He currently resides in southwest Missouri, teaches part time, and serves as a board member of the Springfield Writer’s Guild and also is a member of Sleuth’s Ink writer’s group.
As a novelist of crime thrillers, Reed transforms his real-world experience into sharp storytelling that grip from the start as every page cuts deeper.
