Thank you for stopping by my website- this is my first “Blog” post… well, ever. I’ve never blogged, but I appreciate the opportunity to interact with readers. I hope as you see this webpage you are, in fact, a reader of my books. If so, this is the place to be. If not, this is still the place to be and I hope this site helps convince you to try my work.
I’m a retired detective, retired reserve deputy sheriff, and former chief deputy. All together forty years. My career intertwined with both military active duty service and reserve service, then full time police work and reserve LE. Since I was 19.
My last job was over 24 years with the US Army Military Police School at both Ft. McClellan and Ft. Leonard Wood as a GS civilian. I retired from there as a GS13 Chief of the Force Protection Training Division, responsible for the Civilian Police Academy, Antiterrorism training, Physical Security, the Law Enforcement Senior leaders course, and even Patrol/Explosive Detection Dog training. I started as a Special Reaction Team (SRT) trainer and taught courses around the world.
But now, fully retired from everything, I write.
Hurrt County and the touristy town of Seacord are pure fiction, but like a lot of my work they are based on places I know. Just not collocated in reality. In other words, the place I think about when I envision Hurrt County, is no where near what I remember the place I renamed “Seacord” to be. That’s the nice thing about writing fiction. I get to be the “world builder.”
While there may seem to be a lot of bad things going on there, it’s still a great place to be. So I hope you’ll read all my books with number three about to drop as I write this. Visit Hurrt County often.
And please drop me a line, post a 5 star review for the books you read, and wander into this world. I’d appreciate it!
